Pastor Susan Vande Kappelle

Retiring after 37 years of pastoral ministry in three mid-sized congregations in the Presbyterian Church USA, Rev. Dr. Susan Vande Kappelle followed God’s call to work with the Rev. Dr. Joan Prentice at The Ephesus Project in 2017. Her desire is to bring God’s healing to individuals and communities through a Spiritually integrated and holistic ministry called Gestalt Pastoral Care. Each opportunity to help individuals or groups to find healing and the abundant life in Jesus Christ brings joy to her heart and consistent inner communion with God. We welcome you to experience this healing ministry of God through the Ephesus Project.

The Pastor Kappelle received her doctorate in Spiritual Formation from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and her M. Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. She studied with the Rev. Tilda Norberg to become a Gestalt Pastoral Care Minister, and now she teaches this healing work.
